"When I spotted this beautiful Amazon blue and yellow Macaw Parrot sitting in a tree and squawking in the Yawanawá tribal village of Mutum in the Amazon rainforest I just had to draw it. Its vivid colours and characterful face lent themselves to a detailed study drawing, which I rarely do, but it does capture the exotic and colourful nature of the Amazon."
